I suggested that my hubby-to-be gift them with utility knives, batman cufflinks, and converse hi-tops. It fits perfectly with their personalities.
Our best man really wants an old style pocket watch. We've known this before he was our best man. So he will get a pocket watch, and to stick with the theme, the rest will get wrist watches.
We did watches too, and, because they were on sale and quite nice, we also got them Timbuktu travel wallets from REI. Maybe we'll tell them we got them the "gift of time travel" :)
My FI is doing a tin filled with tervis tumblers with their colleges on them, a bottle of crown royal, a 6 pack of glass bottle cokes, and a nice bottle opener.
Aviator ray bans - from Sunglass Hut so they can return them and get another style if they prefer.
I like the sunglasses idea---we gave the groomsmen Nike golf putters--this is great if they are golfers!
I just watched a Whose Wedding Is It Anyways where the groom gave his guys hockey sticks for their winter wedding (there was even a pond on location where they played the night before).
We got each of our groomsmen different stuff. One got a flask, zippo and money clip, the best man (father of the groom) got a silver desk clock that rolls up into a travel clock (sounds weird, but it's very nice), another got a silver clip-on waterproof watch with compass engraved with his initials, and another got a camera tripod engraved with our wedding date. We also paid for all their clothes for the wedding.
My friend's FI got his guys tickets to a hockey game. I thought that was a great idea, or tickets to a concert that they can all go to together.
I like the idea of the golf putters and shuffles. who can't use a shuffle?? plus, the drink-ingredients idea is EXCELLENT! each guys favorite cocktail would be so thoughtful. :)
My fiance was given a beer subscription club for 3 months. Very cool idea, but was kind of a pain because they wouldn't leave it at our door for obvious reasons, so he had to go to the UPS place to show ID and pick it up each month. We will have our guys wear suits that they buy instead of renting tuxes. So my fiance will have them pay for as much as a tux rental would be and then we'll pay the rest, plus something extra because it's not going to be that much extra. Sorry that probably didn't help you too much =)
We are getting the Groomsmen a personalized Capcatcher from www.Capcatchers.com

Hi ladies!
Anyone have ideas for unique or creative gifts for groomsmen? FI doesn't want to go the typical flask/cufflink/beer mug route. He's hoping to spend about 100/guy. Would love to hear your thoughts--thanks!
