going to an outlet for a nice watch or something? We found great fossil watches at just 34.99 each at a fossil outlet in Niagara Falls. Or, another idea we had was to get a nice fancy bar set, there are some online that come in nice leather boxes, with all the tools needed for a bar set. They were really nice, and were on amazon.com!
We're doing what goes in the flask - each of the guys will get a Artists Series bottle of 1800 Tequila.
I like daisybride's idea if he's a sports fan :)
If not, I would check out http://www.linkyourshirt.com -- Theyve got some sweet cufflinks and so many groomsmen gifts its actually sometimes confusing.
Or like cecullaton said, you can never go wrong with amazon :) I'm sure you can find some best sellers in the wedding section!
The Rialto Tie Company sells neckties with a nice surprise on the back. Each necktie features a discretely hidding pinup model of your choice on the back of the necktie on the tie tipping. This is all clearly understood when you visit The Rialto Tie Company website. You can buy the ties online. These ties might notbe for everyones taste, but for those adventurous enough, a exquisite and memorable groomsmen gift awaits. The Rialto Tie Company just launched its online store in October 2009 so you can be sure that this gift is unique.
I wrote a blog post about this recently: http://runninglawyer.blogspot.com/2009/10/gift-guide-groomsmen.html
And Style Me Pretty just had a 3 part groomsmen gift guide too:

We're going to do cufflinks and/or ties -- useful gifts, and they'll hopefully think of us when they wear them!
I'm a lot more stuck over bridesmaids.
What about electronic gadgets? PS, Miss Omally, I like your blog entry! There are some very good ideas there :)
If your guys really appreciate good liquor, I LOVR the idea of a really good scotch or something. My husband and I had a small wedding party, and actually only had one male stand up on his side (the rest were female), so he splurged and got him a nice watch.
We gifted our groomsmen with aviator sunglasses that i picked up on Ruelala for a great deal. It was perfect as our ceremony was outside just before sunset so they definitely went to good use and looked great in the pictures!
FI found these awesome things called Capcatcher Bottle Openers from
he loved them for his guys, so thats what we're doing.
They also have glassware and beer buckets which are pretty cool, tons of stuff for any guy that likes beer!

what is a nice gift for the groomsmen that isn't a flask or engraved drinking vessel of any kind?
