Are the hosts couples? I might give something that is date related for the two to share. My co-worker just did really simple chocolate gifts for her hosts. You could always do food.
I also have an upcoming shower and I got the hostesses (there are 3) monogrammed coasters from Pottery Barn. They are all married, so I got them monogrammed with their last name initial. I think they will go over really well... everyone loves a monogram! ;) GL!
Ok, I may sound totally stupid here, but we have to get the shower hosts gift?! Yikes! I've thrown showers before and didn't get a gift in return.
Candy_Nee - It is proper etiquette to give the hostess some sort of hostess gift. Similar to bringing a bottle of wine or flowers to a dinner party for the host/hostess. I have also thrown showers and not received one, which I think unfortunately, is pretty common.
Thank you!! Now, I'll know and not feel like a jerk for not getting them one!

We have a shower coming up in the next few weeks and it's a couples shower, thrown by the entire bridal party. We are so excited about it, but coming up short on ideas to give as the host gifts.
What have you guys given, when it's been both guys and girls as hosts??
