I am sure they will appreciate any thoughtful gift. I like personalized gifts or something that is practical. Maybe nice engraved mugs/glasses depending on their choice in beverages. Maybe a nice frame...everyone loves a nice frame to put their pictures in.
I think it is more important that you make an effort and give them a heartfelt card signed from both of you.
food gifts! Chocolates, jams, homemade cookies... yum. Anything that shows your appreciation. I also agree with the above poster suggesting a heartfelt card. That would be better than any gift, IMO.
Thanks ladies! I always neglect the card part and I shouldn't! Plus, I love the food idea :)

We aren't having a bridal party -just two witnesses to sign our marriage certificate (which is part of the ceremony in Canada). I would like to get those two people, plus the few people who have put a lot of effort into helping us with the wedding a little gift. I can't come up with anything good! I was thinking of sewing a few clutch purses for the ladies (I found a home made lunch bag pattern too that I thought was neat, albeit completely not wedding related), or some heel stopper things for walking around in heels in the grass (outdoor wedding!) but I'm not sure.
We don't have a lot of money to spend ($20/person max) but I really feel like a nice personal touch would be appreciated. What can I give/make that doesn't look cheap and they'd still be grateful to get?
