My cousin is in the process of getting ordained to marry us. I need to come up with a gift for her but I’m kind of drawing a blank. She’s not the type who would like any kind of keepsake or monogrammed whatever. I plan to get her a gift certificate to one of her favorite restaurants but I would like to give her an actual gift as well ($50 range). Any ideas?

I am in the same boat, my family friend loves alcohol so we will probably buy her a nice bottle of something. You could always take a nice picture and then get a really nice print of it for them. Without knowing your cousin and her tastes, I can’t suggest much. You could always take her out to get your nails done. I love giving people books and writing an inscription in it.

I’m going to keep an eye on this thread for suggestions. My cousin is marrying us, same thing, would not like anything monogrammed or keepsake-y.

FI’s best friend is our officiant. I think we’re getting him a bottle of his & his partner’s favorite liquor and maybe a gift card to a yarn store. Not sure.
I swear it’s harder to buy for people you know than strangers!
