What did you gift to your readers?  We have two, one is a friend of mine and one is a friend of FI.  Should I get them something personal to suit their tastes, or something that's "reading-related"?

I got my bridesmaids very generous gifts and I'm afraid that anything I get for my friend who's a reader is going to pale in comparison :/

You're supposed to get gifts for readers?  I am having two, but didn't think I was supposed to get them something..

Readers do not typically receive gifts. Unless its some kinda of tradition in your family, I really doubt that they would expect it.

However, if you would like to give them gifts (which is always a nice thing to do). I'd go with something simple, but not a gift card. It really depends on what they would like. A book? a picture frame? perhaps a giftbasket with tea/coffee/jam? i'm not entirely sure what to suggest... hmm...

I actually bought my gifts for them today!

I am giving them a set of 15 personalized note cards. I have a post about this I put up today. It came in around $20 with shipping, and I felt it was a nice gift but not something crazy.

I was planning to get my readers small boxes of candy from a local chocolatier.  I wasn't sure if readers traditionally received gifts, but I feel like I have to get them something.  They do have to come to the rehearsal and are performing a role in the ceremony...

Jewelry rolls from QueenPuffPuff and necklaces from BluHour, both on Etsy.

They are both <20 and travel with competative dance teams, so it's somewhat practical for them too.  Another option was monogrammed make up cases or engraved compacts.
