My sister-in-law is single (dating), in her late twenties, and a very successful professional living about 12 hours away from the rest of our family. We’ve been close for years, but since she moved so far away and I don’t see her as much, I don’t feel as close to her. 🙁
Last year for Christmas (DH and I weren’t married then), I gave her a closet jewelry organizer and a pretty coffee mug. Any gift ideas for this year, from the both of us?

@TogetherThroughLife: I nice gift basket would make for the perfect gift! You could either do something with food and sweets in it, or perfume and bath and body type stuff! You can never go wrong with a gift basket! Candles also! Just some ideas, hope that helps!

Gift card for work clothes, a piece of jewely, can you think of several little things that she likes and do a gift basket “_________’s favorite things” and include her favorite type of coffee, bath soap, candy, etc.?
For my sister in laws this year I am doing a shoe themed gift: a shoe ornament, a mini pack of tissues and a DSW gift card all in a cute holiday shoe themed bag.

Thank you both for the ideas. 🙂 Seems that a gift basket might be the way to go, this year, considering we are doing a “movie night” gift basket for my other SIL/BIL with DVDs, popcorn, candy, etc. For this SIL, I think anything girly would do…the wheels are now turning! 😉
