I think just having dinner provided for them at the reception is good enough.  I could be wrong though.

I think we’re just getting our readers a corsage, to honor them for being a part of our ceremony.  I don’t think it’s traditional/expected to get them a gift.  We’re also inviting them to the rehearsal dinner, since they will be at the actual wedding rehearsal.

I gave our readers a pashmina (just a $5 one from NYC but really pretty) wrapped in ribbon with a thank you note. I got them for our greeters too.

I am having 4 bridesmaids, my only first cousin as a reader, and a friend that I was in her wedding as a guest book attendent. Some of this has already caused conflict but I just didn’t want it to get any bigger.

With that being said I am including my cousing and the guest book attendent in the same type of gifts as the bridesmaids. The plan is to give then a bridal lunch, garden tour, small “green” gift to open, and personalized thank you letters.

I think it is up to the individual I was a guest book attendent, not a reader, and only got a corsage but that really was fine.
