We got both FFIL and FMIL the Willow Tree "Father and son" and "mother and son" figurines.
OHHH how I love these! Did you have them made or did you make them? They are perfect! You totally gave me a gift idea for FMIL :) Thanks.
We just got our FMIL/FFIL a nice frame that we will put one of our wedding pictures in from Waterford Crystal.
I found a beautiful frame for 50% off!
We're probably going to get FMIL a sterling silver frame and put a photo in it of us at the wedding and then get the frame engraved. So more like an after wedding gift.
ETA: What about some sort of leatherman or survival tool for your FFIL?
@LindseyMarie52- these are from Etsy... the seller is ccbgknikolich ! They are like $14!
@everyone - I was thinking about getting a frame but I didn't know if giving them an empty frame was okay. Do you put in an engagement photo or an IOU certificate?
Ooh, a survival tool might be good for FFIL! And then hanky for FMIL and the frame for both of them. Decisions, decisions...

Wow, I can't believe it's time to start collecting gifts for my party!
For my future mother-in-law, I was thinking about getting this but it might be cheesy for a woman who kind of artsy and silly (loves Star Trek, Egypt and the color blue)
I thought she could carry it at the wedding but I would get her something else too.
And I have NO IDEA what to get my future father-in-law. He just a big teddy bear that is into outdoor stuff, tea and history.
ANY and ALL thoughts are welcomed!!
