Just love the Gilmore Girls. I watch it on E4 during the day when the kids are napping!
LOVE.
Received season 1 for Christmas and was like yeeeeeeeeeeeees. Now I'm getting them all! Why have I never thought to do that before?
I want to be Lorlei...she quirkiness, her fashion style, her attitude. Just love her. I have all the seasons on dvd.
I have all the seasons on DVD too, I've been in love with the show for years! I'm so sad it's over.
I just watched three episodes! I finally had to take a break and spend some time with FI!

2 christmases ago, DH bought me the entire box set of EVERY season!!! We went on huge Gilmore Girls marathons and watched it al the way through :) I even got DH hooked! It took over a month - but SOO worth it!

I love Gilmore Girls, too. Whenever I'm home during the day, I catch the reruns on ABC Family.
I love that show so much!! I really wish it was still going somehow... even though rory would be like way too old now :)
That's my latest Netflix rental! I can't watch more than a couple episodes at a time though, keeping up with the dialogue sometimes makes my head spin!
Of Rory's boyfriends, who was your favorite? Dean, Jess, Logan? I think Jess was the cutest. Mmm.
@MrsK2b - My Fi and I did that too! I bought them all on dvd pretty much as they came out, but last year he decided he wanted to see it so we spent about a month watching the whole thing....it was terrible, though - we'd watch like a whole cd every night! We didn't get ANYTHING done that month!
I thought Jess was the best. Dean was a dweeb and I was thinking "WHY ARE YOU WITH HIM?!" and Logan...He just didn't treat her right. lol. I love that show! I miss it! :(

@jduck: I loved Dean (before Jess came along). If you remember from the first season, he actually liked reading and had conversations with her about books and writers. But then when Jess came, they made Dean dumb!
@MissAsB - oh, I do remember that now. Even though I didn't care for Dean a whole lot, I still feel so sad every time I see that scene where he's waiting for Rory at her grandparents' house, and the look on his face when she runs out with Logan and all her college friends. That was a good episode.
Come to think of it, none of her boyfriends were all that great for the whole time, right? I guess that's television for ya.
Sorry I was a big rory and logan fan. That guy was hot toooo trot! Bit devo when she turned him down at the end. But then thats tv!
This is my favorite show! I have alll 7 seasons & watch it on a regular basis. You can never get tired of this show because there is always some quippy comment or pop reference that you probably missed the first few times. I swear I'm more witty & funny because of GG.
I was also a Logan fan. By the end of the series he really straightened up... I was totally sad that she turned down his proposal! I never cared for Jess. Dean was the perfect first bf, but definitely not good enough for Rory!
I love GG! I also have all the seasons on DVD. I was also a Rory & Logan fan. Even though he didn't treat her great when he was going through his quarter life crisis I think they made a good couple on the whole. I hated Jess (round 1) when they were dating. But when he showed up the second time all grown up, I could have seen them together, too. I never liked Dean.
@ccranetobe -- I know... Now I enjoy watching him in The Good Wife.
I love Gilmore Girls also. My FH always asks "Did you watch your girls today?" He won't admit it to anyone else, but he loves GG too lol!

I can't stand Dean. I really liked Jess and hoped that he and Rory would end up together. I liked Logan too (FI really liked Logan).
I looooooved Jess, couldn't stand Logan, and Dean was eh.
I want to live in Stars Hollow! Even if it is fictional, lol.
My FI will usually suffer through a lot of the shoes that I watch, like Grey's Anatomy, Biggest Loser, etc. He hates Gilmore Girls. Of course, I love it. l have to DVR it and find time when he's not around to watch it.
So, I'm watching season 4 episodes of Gilmore Girls on thewb.com, and just saw the one where Jess comes back to Stars Hollow to get his car, and Rory runs away from him, yelling, "My town!" Just had to share, because it cracked me up and I had to watch that part twice.
This is my favorite show EVER. Seriously, nothing will ever top it. I just wish the 7th season hadn't gone the way it did.
jduck -You watching season 4 now!! Im up to disk 5... this is the 3rd time im watching the whole series through. I keep on finding funny things that I didnt notice it before.
Cant wait till Logan comes on the scene.
I think im getting addicted, but ive actually got FH to watch it this time through and hes just as hooked as me! hehe
@ccrane - Yeah, thewb.com has 6 episodes of GG online a time, and right now they are all from season 4, I think! I'm also nearing the end of season 3 for Netflix, but for some reason Netflix doesn't have season 4 available to rent. My fiance thinks the show is a little silly, but he still cracks up occasionally, which always makes me tell him, "Haha, I told you it's a good show!" :)

I didn't like Dean but I will admit I've caught Supernatural a couple times and he's on it - with whatsisname... the guy who used to be Eric on Days of our Lives. HAH!
love Gilmore girls- it was tradition that me and my dad watched it every tuesday night... man, i miss those days
oh, I love the Gilmore Girls. Those are definitely my most-watched DVDs.
I was a big fan of Rory and Logan, but I was still glad she said no when he proposed...
I hope they do a Gilmore movie sometime. I've been watching Parenthood on NBC jsut because Lauren Graham plays a mom again.
I cant believe I never saw this thread! I LOVE Gilmore Girls and miss it! My mom and I used to watch it together every week. I was a huge fan of Logan too, I wish the writers wouldve known the show wasnt going to be renewed so it couldve got a proper ending! And I always wish I could find out the ending that the original creator/writer wanted (she has said she knew exactly how she would end it, but has never ever told anyone).
I started watching Parenthood solely because of Lauren Graham too. Its hard not to think of her as Lorelai
WOW..i can't believe I missed this thread. I LOVE the Gilmore Girls!! I think i love it so much because I can relate. I too was a teenage mom, and am now raising a teenager, except my "rory" is a boy.
I liked Logan...but not at first. And I really liked Jess & Rory together. how happy were u when Luke & Loreali first kissed? I was so excited...it was like I knew them personally.
My son & I would watch that show everyday, and he sometimes watches the re-runs w/me ...but don't ask him..cuz he would absolutely deny it.
@lisaberry & naangel - i watch Parenthood b/c of Lauren Graham too. the show is growing on me.
@Dancy - oh my gosh, I knew that other guy on Supernatural looked vaguely familiar! That's so funny.
@bridegrl - at the end of the series? I think Logan and Rory break up... and that's all I remember. I got disillusioned with the show in the later seasons, I think it was around the time the main writer (creator?) left the show.
