I hate to be this person, but I don’t like either of the names. Lennon reminds me of John Lennon (of the Beatles), and Peyton reminds me of Peyton Manning (QB for the Denver Broncos). Do you have any other less masculine names in your arsenal? I do like the name Teresa.

I would think that they were boy names too, but Peyton sounds more feminine. Would like Lennon for a boy. Teresa is lovely.

I love Lennon as a first name. I like it for a boy or a girl, not quite sure whch gender I like it more for.

I do think Lennon is a cool name but kinda hippie and trendy. Is sounding hippie and misician’s child-esque and being trendy what you after? Then yes cool.

If I were to make a reference to the Beatles, I would choose some names from their songs. Like Sady/ Sadie or Lucy, or Eleanor, or YOKO!!!

Sadie Teresa, Lucy Teresa, Eleanor Teresa, I think all sound lovely!

@DelilahDiamond:  Sorry, but I dont like either of them either. Though of the two, I’d have to go with Peyton.

Side note, Teresa is my moms name.

@Holly77:  +1 to not liking either.  Try to think of the child.  Some names make it easy to get picked on.

I think Peyton is an awesome girls name ( I am a one tree hill fan and that was one of the female lead characteres names).  Not so keen on Lennon. I can just imagine everyone calling her Lenny for short.  I love the unisex names like alex, jordan, ashley, blair, blake for girls
