My 4 girlfriends and I are headed to Vegas for 4 nights on the 21st of March, and we want to stay in the middle of the strip at the Mirage. My friends all want to share one room, and I think that will be way too cramped! I have never been to Vegas, so I am not sure how upgrades and prices work when you actually arrive at the hotel, but I am really hoping we can somehow get two rooms for a more affordable price than I am finding online.
Anyone have any experiences/info/advice to share?

@SweetCheeks: I’ve gone to Vegas with 4 girls before, and we all stayed in one room at the Mirage. For us, it didn’t feel that cramped. Plus, you don’t really spend a whole lot of time in your hotel room – so that didn’t bug us!

@SweetCheeks: I just stayed at the Mirage in January and I think it could work for 4 girls. Outside of the bathroom there are big mirrors and a table with outlets so while someone is showering another girl or two can be working on hair and makeup.

@SweetCheeks: That is the best weekend to go all year (to me, lol), but your rooms will be even more expensive than normal. There aren’t going to be cheap rooms that weekend (by Vegas standards anyway-you can get some super cheap rooms depending on the timing). That is one of the more expensive weekends of the year in Vegas (along with holidays and Super Bowl weekend). Every casino on the strip will have higher prices than normal. On the bright side, your Sunday and Monday night rates will be cheap.
I’d recommend signing up for a players card, I’ve gotten good deals just by logging on (even if you don’t gamble). I’ve gotten nice upgrades but we booked through one of the membership cards (and that one was gambled with frequently). Otherwise I wouldn’t count on much. I really wouldn’t count on getting a better deal than what is online. Especially without using a players card, preferred rate codes, or knowing someone. You best bet might be to call and talk to someone at the front desk before you go.
My favorite deal (good prices, good location) is Paris. I think you can do 4 in one room. It might be a little cramped but I’ve stayed with 4 friends in a room before and it was fine. The Mirage is nice too.
I always go that weekend, and I’m so sad I can’t go this year. Have fun!

When I was 23 or 24, I went to Vegas for 4 nights with 4 girls and we all stayed in one room at the MGM Grand. It was totally fine for us, it wasn’t even a huge room but we were barely in there. We were all very close, former college roomates so we were used to being on top of each other. I am older now, and generally prefer a bit more space these days!

Thank you all for the replies! I certainly have a lot to consider. 🙂
