Do you have an accent color you could use?
When we were there yesterday, I found that there were different patterns in the vests... maybe a black tie and a watermelon vest? Then you'd jus thave to be sure to do a watermelon colored pocket square and/or bout.
Also you can't go wrong with black tie & vest as long as you have a colorful bout!
kjpugs- I did consider the idea of black ties and vests and having my groom where the ivory vest and tie since my dress is ivory. I don't understand why they can't offer all color options in PLAIN!!!! Oh well- they didn't ask me!
I am using Watermelon and putting the guys in white shirt with Black Vest and tie which has the tuscany pattern and striped tie pattern...but all black.
I am going to give them a pink rose boutonniere
Also my dress is Ivory and my FI is wearing White shirt with Ivory Vest and Tie.
BTW.....The Ivory shirts at Mens warehouse look yellowish so thats why were going with white shirt
I don't like the watermelon vests from MW either.
We're doing gray tuxes and vests, with a white shirt, and a light pink tie which we will be puchasing ourselves.
our guys wore ivory shirts, with ties & vests matching the tux...colorful bouts...grom wore solid ivory with a fancier colorful bout...I don't think ties/vests have to be a color.
Wow great Idea hotchildinthecity . I was thinking of going grey with the light pink but didnt know how to pull it off.

what are you having your guys wear? (as far as ties go)
I hate the Tuscany design in watermelon provided by Mens Wearhouse. The design on it looks black and I just don't like it for the look we are going for (light and fresh).
so any suggestions of where to look or what to do?
