My sister got married for the second time last Jan. and I decorated for her at a very small reception with all the things I had around my house.  We filled different milkglass vases and I gathered all the candleholders I had, and I think it came out very nice for almost no money.

edit: I guess my pictures are too big.  Darn.

my mom has always collected milk glass and she has tons, it was always my chore to dust it and rearrange the breakables in her china cabinet.. so its kinda a nod to my childhood and my close relationship with my mama.. she's moving over 100 miles away from me in a month and i'm pretty sure im going to go crazy

I am doing milkglass also.  My grandmother gave me a bunch as an heirloom and since she is not able to be there (nursing home) I thought it would be a nice personal touch.  Attached is a pic I found online somewhere that I am using as an inspiration piece.  I wanted an elegant look and not necessarily a fresh out of the garden look.

Hi! I'm snapping up milk glass at all my local thrift stores with the intent of doing our centerpieces! We took a little trip to the flower mart to see what we could get for our $$$ and I made these bad boys for under $40.

You've inspired me to write a little blog post about this very subject, so feel free to head over and check it out. :)

I too am a milk glass bride!  I have collected over 100 pieces so far.  Most of them are the standard skinny vases and I plan on lining them down the tables with one single flower in each. I'm sure we'll find at 100 more.  Milk glass is such a beautiful, simplistic touch to a wedding.  I'll post pictures after my wedding in July!
