FI and I usually do group dates with our friends. Very fun. When just the two of us have a date we always do the same thing – typically dinner at a nice restaurant then finish the night with some wine….. And both pass out on the couch by 10:30 haha (exciting, I know!) We occasionally go to the movies but not often because we hardly agree on movies… Any date suggestions?? What types of dates do you Bees have?

Find a convention for something you’ve never been into or even know much about, go and have fun time exploring something completely new. My FI and I were at a SciFi convention that was boring when we wandered next door into a convention for Baywatch fans. It was wierd and funny, the best laugh we’d had in awhile. The ponit is get out and do something that you never thought you’d do. We make it a point to try random new resturants sometimes (sometimes good, sometimes we stop for McD’s on the way home).

@RubyStar: We like to go for walks, to festivals or events in the community such as pumpkin patches or Christmas light festivals. Or we may go to church feeds. Yeah, it’s kind of a group date then, but it is still fun, and we are doing something together. We also like game night whether it is together or with family.

Ditto the festivals. We’ve gone to several beer festivals and had a blast. We are also big movie-goers.
– BYOB painting class
– Cooking class
– Go for a hike
– Try out a museum

@RubyStar: When the weather is nice we like to go play mini golf and get ice cream. Usually our date nights include a nice dinner and… that’s about it except for a bit of ‘fun’ 😉

Ooooh – we love date nights! Here is what we like to do:
Painting bar where you can paint and drink, ping pong bar/restaurant called Spin, bowling, pool/darts, indoor rock climbing, roller skating, ice skating, miniature golf, dancing at a club, dance lessons 2x a month and then one of their dance parties, hiking, biking, camping on weekends, board games or WII at home, backyard fire and wine.

Whats date night? Lol we haven’t had one since our 5 year dating anniversary at the end of August… and the next one will be… Valentines day. Aren’t we special.
Our closest representation of date night is dinner and a movie… at home. but then again thats nothing special unless we its a special occasion so we purposely go out of our way – and then the only difference is theres a bottle of wine involved. lol
We go to small group with some couple friends and if anyone mentions date night we laugh and say “this is our date night!” lol
We’re broke – Date night is a luxury we can’t afford.

@Kate0558: haha I know! We have really been cutting down hard on money.. That’s probably why our dates aren’t so exciting.. Oh well..
