We are eloping in Sept. I can’t get myself to plan a wedding and my Fiance is tired of waiting. I want to elope, I just don’t feel like I have the time to do the neccessary stuff, like find a wedding dress. I mean, I’ve been trying to get myself to go to an Express store that is 10 miles away to try on some khaki shorts since April, I just have NO time and no new shorts. I’m pretty easy to shop for, I’m 5’6, 130lbs, my hips & bust aren’t big, I but 99% of my stuff online and varely ever have to return or exchange. I need some good websites that offer free shipping/returns, so I try a bunch. I’m looking for long, but it could be short if it’s cute enough. We’re getting married ona sailboat in Newport RI, hoping the wetaher will be in the 70’s. I want Fiance to be able to wear linen pants and a white collar shirt, nothing fancy.
I want cheap too, something under $150, doesn’t have to look like a wedding dress, just something white. (i’ve looked at the Limited, shopbop, Neimans & Nordstrom (online clearance).

I got mine at Overstock, the brand is Eliza J. There are a lot of great ones on there. I googled for the brand-specific size chart and it fit exactly right.

The Little White Dress section of For Her and Him has a good selection of dresses in the 140-170 range but in exchange for paying a little more you get a dress that is custom made to your measurements so you don’t have to worry about sending it back if it doesn’t fit.
Ruche and Pinupgirlclothing also have some short white wedding dresses in the $70-120 range.

Don’t know where you’re located or if this is a good option for you, but I wanted to avoid the usual bridal shop rigmarole and I had a great experience finding a gown at a Brides Against Breast Cancer event. They have a wide range of styles and the dresses are very affordable.
