Hey ladies! I am growing concerned about my search for wedding dresses! I haven’t started looking in person (yet), but all of the dresses I see online look amazing on the models…but maybe not on me. I’m 5’4 and wear size 0 jeans and am a 34B, so I’m afraid that some dresses won’t look nearly as good on me as they do on the more curvy, tall women.
SO, for all of you “little” brides out there, if you already have your dress, would you post a picture of yourself in it for me? I just need some confidence in my shape and size for when I do begin my shopping!

I’m about 5’6”, 120lbs, size 0-4. I bought two dress, I’ll post below. I wore 2” heels with the first dress and flats with the second dress. I wouldn’t worry, they will look great on you!

I’m curvy so I can’t post, but have you considered a sheath dress? They’re great for lean figures!

I’m short, only 5’3, and I found that empire waist looks great on me because it makes my legs look longer! I don’t have a good pic, but I also had my dress altered to have a lace up back because it emphasized my waist, flared out around my non-existant hips, and gave the girls a little extra lift 🙂 The lace up is a great option because it is really forgiving for hard shapes. Also, I found that a sweeheart necklink made me look less flat on top. Hope this helps! Just have fun with the process, it is a little nervewracking, but if you stay calm and confident in yourself it will be a great experience!

I wear a size 0/25 jeans and xs top, a lot like you, and I found dress shopping quite a challenge. Sheath dresses seemed to be the only style that didn’t swallow me up! Plus, it really made my legs look longer! What style were you thinking of going for?

MarriedSandrine: I absolutely love a-line and mermaid! I think I’ll end up getting one of those silhouettes 🙂 I just don’t think I’ll feel like a princess in a sheath. :/

FutureBride625: please don’t fret! I am 5″3 105 lbs and I found that dresses that were fitted really showcased my petite frame. I feel your pain though. I wish I was a little curvier. It’s all about showcasing what you have.
You can see the dress I tried on in my threadS I started.

I’m 5’0, around 125-130 just depends, size 2-4, but I’m a 34DDD, so I guess I’m curvy. I have a fit and flare.
