We finally find out the gender of our baby on Nov. 22!
According to the old wives tails:
Heartbeat: Right smack in the middle, completely average! It is at 145.
Timing: We tried about 24 hours after our positive OPK, so I would guess boy there? But who knows when I actually ovulated or when it was fertilized...could have been another day or two.
The ring on the neclace thing: Did it twice, got both answers.
Morning sickness was minimal: boy
Chinese gender chart: girl
My gut feeling: girl
DH's: boy
Friends and family votes: Girl:4, Boy:3
Soooo....what do you think?????
For some reason, my gut feeling for you is a girl.
@heathaah: I think you're crazy : ) J/k - I'm gonna go with you and the Chinese and say girl!
Post a picture of your belly, I can tell by the shape of the belly, most of the times I'm right =P
ETA: My grandma said the ring has to be in one of your hairs over your belly, not a necklage.. but still =P
Here is the belly about a week and a half ago. I am pretty much round all in the tummy!
@Coffee cup: I agree, lets see a belly picture. That is usually were I get my vibe from!

@heathaah: Looks like a girl, but depends how far are you.
Boy's tummies are kind of pointed (most of the times you can't tell the woman's pregnant from behind), while girl's tummies are rounded and most of the time the mommy looks "chubbier" like she's gaining more weight, it has something to with the hormones or something like that.
No matter what.. CONGRATULATIONS!
@Coffee cup: Hmm, that's tricky. I am definately all belly still. I was just over 16 weeks there, and I am 18 now. I am clearly more round than pointed, which is something my mom pointed out. I am sort of growing around, instead of out, if that makes sense. But as of right now, it is ALL in the belly!

ETA: Keep in mind, the same "gut" that is telling me girl also told me I wasn't even pregnant in the beginning! So we know how realible that was!
I voted girl. You're like me and your gut and the chinese gender said girl, so I think it's a girl for you too.
I'm going with boy. But don't trust me... My mama's intuition didn't even work for my own baby, so I'm probably wrong.

My scientific reasoning is that your belly is rounded like mine and everyone thinks I'm having a girl...so GIRL!
Gut reaction was boy. Also, you are carrying much like my SIL and my coworker who both had boys!
I'm voting girl. She made you work really, really hard just to prove to her that you really really wanted her. Who else but a girl would make you work that hard?!? 
yea, my gut instinct is saying girl... Based on the belly...
But the true test is how your skin and face look... they always say the girls take the beauty from the momma for themselves... faces usually get more chubby and a lot of times get acne and red faced with girls... my sister was classic, 1 girl 2 boys... she puffed up like a marshmallow with my niece and was very slim and only belly with her two boys... it might be too soon to tell at this point though, that's usually for the last few months.
Either way, congratulations!!!
So many of the spring babies thread is girls, so I'm going with that. Girl!
