I say yes.  You can search the boards for a bunch of suggestions.  I gave my hostesses cookies day of and had flowers sent to their houses the next day.

I don’t think a gift is required but it is a really nice gesture. My mom and Maid/Matron of Honor threw my shower and I wrote them each a thank you card and got them each a gift certificate for a massage.

I dont think its a must, expecially if you dont have alot of cash. But it would be a nice gesture. I would be happy with a thank you card.

I think you should.  It’s a lot of effort and money to host a shower.  I gave my aunt some bath stuff with a card that said “Hope your next shower is as nice as mine was”.  Hehe, cheese ball.

My shower is next weekend and I had the same question. I decided on writing her a nice thank you note along w/her favorite bottle of wine and 2 roses tied nicely w/some pretty ribbon. I want her to know how much I appreciate her doing this for me! However, if you’re low on $ a heartfelt thank you card is just as nice and thoughful! : )
