Welcome to Weddingbee!  Just out of curiosity, do your parents and his parents have to give permission since you arent 18 yet?  Just wondering how that works.  Congrats!

Welcome to the Bee! Hmm I’m curious about that too (parental permission)! I’d also like to hear more about your story (you & your guy, relationship, proposal, your choice to be a young bride, etc.) if you’ll share it with us!

Congrats and welcome!

I was wondering too how you are able to be married under the age of 18?

My fiance and I will be 18 when we get married so I know exactly what it feels like being a young bride. But I love it, I wouldn’t have it any other way. He is my best friend and I love him. Just curious how did your parents take it? how did you guys get engaged? I would love to hear all about your story if you wouldn’t mind telling it. 🙂

oh and CONGRATS! I hope your wedding is amazing and your marriage is full of happiness and bliss.<3

Congratulations! I had a girl I graduated from high school with (her fiance is a couple of years older than we are)-they got married a week after her graduation and here they are 12 years down the road still as happy and in love as they ever were, if not more 🙂

My cousin got married at 16. Had to have her mom sign approval for her to get married.

They’ve been married for about 20 years now. But it was hard for them (she got pregnant at 18, too), being married so young, then obviously growing up a lot and now that she’s 37, we’ve talked very openly about it. In fact, i was the flower girl in her wedding all those years ago =]

Good luck!

Congrats! That’s great that your family is so supportive! My parents are even still a little iffy about my age and I’m 22 soon to be 23. I love that you thank God for bringing you to your partner so early in life. I prayed for that when I was little and now I’m dating a guy that my dad coached in little league and was my rival in highschool! Funny how God does that.

Congrats!

Don’t wear a veil if you don’t want to!  I understand about you not wanting it to cover the back of your dress.
