Is it too much to give guests both a wood fan and a wand streamer at the ceremony?
During the recessional I want everyone to wave the wand streamers (I’ll have a board explaining that when you grab one).
I’m worried people’s hands will be too full with both the wood fan and the streamer and they’ll be inconvenienced, and that the wood fans really won’t help cool people all that much. Ideally the wedding will be outdoors at about 4ish in September in New England, so people shouldn’t be TOO warm…
I also don’t want to use them for the program (I have a lovely big bulleting board for that)
I’m leaning towards giving out only the wand streamers for the ceremony, and giving out the wood fans at cocktail hour to whoever wants one (we’ll have lawn games). I’m honestly half expecting people to skip them. I’m not sure that they’re that useful, it was my first diy project that I did excitedly without thinking about if I really NEEDED it first.
