I don't wear glasses or contacts and don't need them, so I can't answer for myself. But I just wanted to let you know that a good friend of mine wears glasses and considers them part of her signature look, and she wore them when she walked down the aisle. She looked more herself and more comfortable that way. She still looked gorgeous! So if contacts are an issue for you and you can't see properly without them, you might consider sticking with your glasses for your big day.
I wear glasses at home, but contacts outside of the house. As cute as coke-bottle lenses are (for me haha), I'm wearing contacts for my wedding. I've seen some offbeat brides who have worn funky frames to their weddings, but it matches that offbeat vibe. The pictures I've seen of more traditional brides wearing glasses aren't always the most flattering. Maybe practice wearing contacts in the week before the wedding to see if you would be comfortable, and if not, wear your glasses. But in the end, it's more important to be comfortable on your big day than miserable!
mrs. caterpillar wore glasses on her wedding day! mrs. kiwi did too.
have you taken your engagement pics yet? that might be a good time to practice whether you'd like to wear glasses on your big day. :)
I wore glasses on my day! :)Â I've been wearing them forever and they are part of me, I can't imagine not wearing them!
if you wear glasses regularly, that's probably how people picture you... so it's just YOU to wear your glasses, even on your big day! The wedding isn't about looking like the models in the bridal magazines (we can wish....), it's about being the most beautiful YOU that you can be :)
I usually wear contacts, so I did at my wedding, but a friend of mine had a beautiful, traditional wedding and wore glasses because she didn't feel like herself without them. You don't need to have funky frames or an offbeat vibe to wear glasses! Wear whatever you feel beautiful in. ;)
I am planning on wearing my glasses for my wedding. I will probablly take some pictures with out them but plan on wearing them most of the time. I dont feel like me with out them. Plus the wedding may be a good excuse to get some new super cute glasses. :)

I wear glasses and have since I was in second grade. For a short stint in high school I wore contacts, but my weird eye issues forced me to get extended wear contacts and I kept losing them and my mom got annoyed with constantly having to shell out $100+ to replace it. Â
