hehe... I was JUST coming on here to post about that dress! I just finished the first episode. :)
I love how very, very Audrey Hepburn she is, with the gloves and updo and everything. Dye that dress black and you've got Breakfast at Tiffany's!
Jayma Mays has been one of my favorite actresses for a while now... I was ecstatic when I saw she'd scored a bigger role on Glee this year :) instead of just the small stuff she's been doing up til now. And I've been hoping she would sing for 7 episodes now :) :) :)
*sigh* I love Glee.
ETA: I am so crazy about Noah (Puck) -- but I've always had a soft spot for the bad boy, haha. shhh... don't tell J - he's like the anti-bad boy. But I were 10 years younger and a student at William McKinley High, I'd be soooo in love with him. :)
That dress was gorgeous....very understated but the back was to die for.
She looked so pretty! I wonder how long it will take for her and Mr. S to get together.
It really reminded me of the Silk gazar Nanami gown from J Crew. It may be the same one!

omg crebre, it's a tv show :) and I luuuurve it. It's about a high school glee club, so the plot is pretty shaky, but there's singing and dancing... it's a beautiful thing. :)
All of the actors actually sing too, which is one of my favorite things about it - 3 of the leads are broadway stage actors, so they're already trained, but they all do a pretty good job. Since the 'stage' is a glee club, they do all kinds of fun songs - old stage stuff, modern stuff (Gold Digger and that Should've Put A Ring On It song, hehe), and stuff from the 80s... it's a very unique, fun, mix.
It airs on Fox, on Wednesdays, if you want to look it up on their website and get caught up and enjoy it with us! Only the first season, and only 8 episodes in, hehe.
I actually think it is that J Crew gown! Pretty much all she wears is J Crew, my sister and I drool over how outfits every single week. I LOVE her hair and that double headband, I might take that pic to my hair stylist for a trial!

It was perfect for that character..not for me, but really classic and pretty!

I finally watched Glee so now I can reply to this thread. I loved her dress. Its the JCrew dress, but its so much prettier on her! Very Audrey Hepburn!
I LOVE that dress. My jaw dropped when she came on screen and I was so jealous! It really made me regret my dress.
I loved the dress on her, it fit her character so well. She has such a quirky, frilly style.
