Glen Sanders Brides?

posted 6 months ago in New York, Capital Region

Are there any Glen Sanders Brides? I'm starting to think about OOT bags and am wondering what to put in them for the Schenectady/Scotia area.

I'm getting married right around the corner from you at the Stockade Inn, in October.  I couldn't think of anything overtly "Schenectady" so I figured that I would make an apple-themed OOT bag.  My wedding isn't at all typicall autumn--no apples, pumkins, or gourds, so I thought that having candy apples and apple cider mulling spices in the bag would add a nice fall element that won't be knocking them over the head at the wedding.  Plus, it would hopefully make OOTers feel warm, cozy fall feelings.

I turned to this because I was stumped, though...I mean the main thing I think of when I think of Schenectady is GE...and I don't think you want to give your guests light bulbs or anything like that!

That is a great idea! I am also not having an autumn theme so I didn't even think to include that kind of stuff in the OOT bags. Thank you :)

Hey ladies!  I'm also getting married right around the corner from you guys (although- its quite possible that you have both already had your weddings!) our reception is at the schenectady museum and planetarium!

we just moved up to the capital district from Texas, (by way of mississippi and wisconsin) so needless to say - about 98% of our guests will be traveling and OOT bags are a MUST! I love the idea of apple orchard apples in the bags with a little note about the orchard (Bowmans isn't far, right?)  and such!  Thanks for sharing.
