The other night, I was watching tv and I never watch the wedding shows because it instantly annoys me that it isn’t me getting married. Yeah, I know, I am resentful about it. This night, however, my boyfriend was home and in and out of the room. He actually sat down with me, and I purposly left it on a wedding show, I think weddings with David Turtera, (not sure of the spelling). He sat down with me, commented on the dresses, and jewelry, and I sat quietly observing his reaction. He watched the whole show, gave his opinions, didn’t squirm or no other nervous behavior. I bit my tongue until it bled. I wanted to ask him so badly when would it be us? Ugh! Well at least, he was cool about it. Hopefully, that put SOMETHING in his head!

Good luck! (: After watching wedding shows a lot my SO is actually starting to comment on them and talk about what he likes and doesn’t like about them. YAY! 😉 I hope the same thing starts happening to you! It just takes baby steps (:

Yaay! I would say it’s more than a glimmer of hope! A similar thing happened to my and my Fiance. He used to hate it that I would watch wedding shows when he was around, then one day, it all changed used to watch them with me. Four months later, we were engaged.

Your comments are encouraging. I didn’t want to read into it. The NEXT day, he was talking about how much more his job was taking for adding his son to his insurance. He said looking directly at me, ” If I was married to you, it would only be 20 dollars more.” I was calm as a cucumber. Not a peep. Inside, ALL AFLUTTER! So it is in his head! I can’t recall him ever just coming out and saying the M word! So still waiting. Hoping now:)
