When I did my make up forever trial the woman said to me theres glitter and theres dust … yes to the dust no to the glitter. They had some great dust product ,,, but as you probably already know, not the cheapest

Heck yea I would wear glitter liner! I LOVE ME SOME GLITTER! I really love this look. Anyway, Urban decay and too faced cosmetics make great glitter liners. Sephora also makes glitter liners but I have not tried their new formula, its like a glitter liner and mascara wand in one. Anyway, good luck!

@justjade:  I would definately wear glitter eyeliner like these models have. I think because it has the black as the base line it balances it out and makes it subtle but still quite noticable without making you look like a disco ball.

@justjade:  Do it!!!! Go to Sephora and check out all the products, I’m sure some of the sales people there would be happy to give you recommendations.

I definitely wouldn’t. It reminds me grade 7 when I did and thought I looked great (I didn’t). I wouldn’t want it for something like a wedding because I feel it will look dated fast. That’s just me though, so it depends what you like.

@justjade:  What color are you looking for? Maybe I can guide you. This is “Junkie” by Urban Decay. It’s not so prominent in the picture but it’s teal with iridescent gold micro glitter (shimmery as opposed to glitter pieces). I wore this as part of my reception makeup. If you tell me what color you’re looking for I can help you find an UD one. They’re the best.

All of my eye make up is extremely shimmer-y because I have very deep-set eyes.

I’m less of a fan of glitter (unless you’re having a night wedding), but shimmer or dust products are AMAZING!

I LOVE glitter liners for nights out (Urban Decay’s 24/7 liners are my favorite). BUT I would worry about irritation/fall out for a long wedding day. I wouldn’t want red eyes on my wedding day!

i bought “eye candy” a few years back at the vegas hair show. its loose glitter that you use a liquid adhesive with. i LOVED it. i have all my glitter but my bottle of adhesive broke in my bag 🙁 i loved the look of the brown glitter and black glitter. subtle bling 🙂

@justjade:  Could you maybe wear it to a fitting and see how you feel?

I’m kind of torn on it…

Shimmer yes glitter know. I think it looks dated and juvenile.

I am a fan of shimmer over glitter. If you wanted to try it out, NYX makes some good glitter liners that are pretty cheap so if you didn’t like it you wouldn’t have spent a lot of money on something you won’t use again.
