So I’m in a wedding this weekend, and the shoes I bought are fabulous silver glittery heels, and I absolutely love them, except glitter is shedding off, and my feet end up a little sparkly, not to mention anywhere I step has a piece or two. It’s not like buckets of glitter are falling off, just a sparkle here and there. What I was hoping is that there is some way to seal them in, short of say, painting clear nail polish over all of the glittery parts (although I think that would take some glitter off…). Since you all are so smart, maybe someone has already conquered this issue? Any ideas? Thanks!!

The first thought that popped in my head was hair spray, no idea why.

When I danced we had sparkle shoes and we would always spray them with hairspray as PP said and it helps but it will not stop it 100%

@Treejewel19: I thought of this too! 🙂
Maybe spray adhesive to seal it in? Or a clear shellac that you would use on furniture haha. It would seal in the glitter and make your shoes extra shiny! 😉

I would use hair spray or spray on adhesive that you use for crafting. I would test the glue first to make sure it dries clear.
