I didn’t wear gloves, but I remember a few conversations on here about how to handle the wedding ring. The most common answer seemed to be opening up the stitching on the ring finger or cutting that part of the glove off for easy removal. Both options didn’t appeal to a lot of brides, so they tried to figure out if there was a way to wear to just make removing the gloves part of the ceremony.

Maybe search the archives?

Good luck!

I am not a fan of gloves. At all.

I wore gloves for my photos, but took them off for the actual ceremony.  The photos were cute, and there were no issues about dealing with the ring!

I went to a wedding where the bride wore wrist-length (short) gloves during the ceremony. When they were about to exchange rings, the groom lifted each hand and kissed it before removing each of the gloves and putting them in his own pockets. It was adorable and romantic and I think that just about every woman there sighed.

Wow, MissSWC…that’s beautiful. Not only does it solve the logistics problem, but he got big brownie points from every girl there.
