DH just got diagnosed with celiac’s and we’re trying to absorb it all. I’m the one who cooks and I really like using cookbooks with pictures (just pictures of the final product not step by step pics or anything). Does anyone have any suggestions?

I do!! I don’t hav3 celiac’s, but I’ve been trying to do a gluten-free diet– or at least mostly gluten-free, to be fair.
It’s called “Gluten-Free BIBLE” no author listed, but by Publications Internation
I can take a pic and post, if you like!

I love the recipes and photos in Primal Cravings. There are also good photos in Primal Blueprint.

lilek22: I’m just here for support! My SO is Celiac, and when we first were together I found it very daunting to cook for him. Things like soy sauce, and confectioners sugar can be laced with gluten. He had been living with it for 10+ years so he was able to help me out a lot reading ingredients even though I was doing the cooking. I just want to let you know, it takes a little to get used to but there are tons of gluten free options out there! Also, if you just eat a pretty simple/clean diet you can avoid gluten more easily. There will always be things like crackers/cakes/salad dressings that you want but will have to find gluten free options for.
Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you’d like some recipes. There are a lot of great websites as well! If I am unsure about something at the grocery store I typically just google if it is gluten free and there are usually related posts on GF forums to confirm either way.
