Seriously, I can’t be the only one here who can’t eat soft, fluffy, yummy useless white bread and cakes.
Share the best and worst thing about be Gluten Free.
The Best- Feeling good, friands and buying the nice icecream because it is the only GF one.
The Worst- The bread….and the reaction when I do accidently eat some gluten.

I don’t have celiac, but my mom and brother do, so we’re incorporating lots of gluten-free foods into our wedding. For example, our ‘wedding cake’ are non-gluten-free cupcakes, but there’s also a gluten-free cheesecake and the favours are gluten free.

I am obviously GF as is my sister-in-law and MOH avoids wheat because it makes her feel off. We will have mostly non GF cupcakes with the top cutting cake and top tier of cupcakes GF and will have mostly GF food- we are having a cocktail reception so I need to be able to eat most of it. I was only recent diagnosed so it has been a big adjustment for myself, FI and family but they have been amazing.
Our catering people have been excellent aswell although we wouldn’t be able to hire them without them understanding and the last thing I want the first day I am a Mrs is a Coeliac attack

Well not eating gluten is the only way I can drop weight at all. Other than that, I can’t actually think of anything positive. I’m really tired of saying “no, I can’t eat that” and having to go hungry because there is nothing gf. I hate people getting exasperated and saying “well what can you eat?” i hate the hidden wheat in things like soy sauce and beef jerkey. I really hate when I slip up and gain 7 pounds in one week. I can deal with feeling sick from it but the weight gain is depressing.
Lol I guess I am pretty frustrated with it at the moment.

I have lost weight since being GF which is good but I hear you on the frustration about wheat in stupid things like lollies! However for me it is worth it. DO you have any good GF recipes you can share? I make an AMAZING GF caramel chocolate slice that I will happily share if you want…it tastes like a Twix but better
