- Wedding: August 2013
So a few weeks ago my inbox messages started to disappear. At first I freaked but then I found them all under the “all mail” folder so I just figured that it had to do with gmail switching up their inbox sorting system and it would be a glitch that would be worked out eventually. I tried to contact the gmail people but couldn’t figure out how to do it so I just left it.
Today I sign in and all of my messages in my inbox are gone (as in every single email that I have ever received has been deleted) and when I open my “all mail” folder it only goes up until JUNE!
My wedding is in exactly 10 days and since it is a destination wedding in San Francisco almost all my my planning has been done over email and a lot of the details have only been very recently!
I was stressed to begin with because I feel like I have so much stuff to do in the next week (including losing the 9lbs I somehow gained in Europe over the last two weeks) and now I feel like I might have a complete mental breakdown.
I contacted gmail to see if they could recover the lost emails but they can’t. And so now I’ve just gone through all of their security measures and I’ve contacted all of my vendors apologizing and asking them to start using my new email account that I set up with my married name.
On top of that, I have my iPhone “notes” integrated with the cloud and my most recent note (the one containing my to-do list) has disappeared! Luckily I also have a hard copy but I just feel like there’s no limit to what someone can get acess to and delete!
I do not need this right now and I feel like there’s nothing I can do about it.
Has anyone else experienced this? Any advice?
