Typically a bridal shower is hosted by someone else, so there’s not really a direct cost to you (I guess unless you want to buy a new outfit or have to travel to it).  However, I guess if there’s really nothing you need, then skip it.  I hate being invited to cash only showers.

You would need to talk with whoever plans on hosting it. You could do a bridal brunch (no gifts) so you could have the feel of the event though.

You don’t have to have a bridal shower if you don’t want one. It is completely up to you.

As you said you already have everything so there isnt really any point to having one unless your BM’s want to host one for you.

@chasty_gregory:  That’s considerate of you.  I say don’t have a shower if you don’t want one, but even without the gifts I really loved my shower.  How often do you get to have all your favourite ladies in one room?

It can be as (in)expensive as the host wants to make it.  You could just do light appies and punch and visit and request no gifts if you still wanted the experience.
