Goals for this work week - workout at least 3 times, figure out exactly what I'm doing table numbers, pull all my pictures off my old cell phone so I can send it to my best friend from home (lol - poor girl has been waiting for it for 2 weeks). Oh, and do at least 2 loads of laundry and fold/put them away as soon as they're done...not wait a day, fluff the drier, and then do it.
Goals for the weekend - set up our registry at Ikea and do our registry for Pottery Barn online, finish up/get ready to mail an Etsy order for save the date magnets and custom envelopes, workout both days.
The odds of all of that happening are pretty slim...but I can dream!
Oh OK OK!
Honestly, I didn't want to say anything to anyone because I always seem to fail on trying to be healthy, but last week I read about Myfitnesspal right here on the bee... so I have been doing it for 4 days. And I started working out 1 week before that.
SoOoOOo, my goal this week is to keep eating under 1600 calories (which it recomended) and keep up with my zumba and g ball workout every night.
Wish me luck
Here are my goals for the week:
1) Start a weight loss plan and begin running/jogging.
2) Try to get ahead of myself in homework.
3) Enjoy the nice weather! I haven't been outside very much so now that it's warm enough I'll be trying to get outside more.
This is great!
Work Goal: Draft a chapter of my dissertation
Fitness: Run or bike four times
one yoga class
eat healthy
Wedding: book rehearsal dinner place (this is becoming more of a pain as we have been rejected by multiple restaurants)
Personal: Don't spend so much time with a particular friend who is overly critical, gossipy, and, at times, just plain mean.
oh yeah, and do my taxes.
My goal for this week is to finish my book! Water for Elephants :) Love it! And if at all possible, I need to finish it while sitting outside in the sun, love!
Yay! So excited that so many of you are playing! How about we touch base on Sunday to see how the goals went?
@running-elley Hope your favors turn out awesome! I like the idea of walks with your FI after dinner - I may have to steal that idea and get DH to start taking walks with me!
@mandamack Your goals are ambitious! I am sure you can get it all done! I struggle with putting the laundry away after its done too and not letting it sit in the basket.
@tranquility Sounds like you're off to a great start on your fitness goals! What's a g ball? And good luck!
@kayely88 Are you going to do C25K?
@bookstorewedding Good plan on cutting down time with the mean friend! Hope you find an RH venue!
@kperry3 Books are always better when you read them outside in the sunshine!
@kperry3:I LOVE that book, can't wait for the movie!!
@sparkle:Steal away!!! We don't get to do it as often as I like but now that it stays light longer I'm trying really hard to incorporate them into our evenings. It's a great way to relax and unwind together without being zombies in front of the TV lol!
YAY I love goals and lists!
Wedding goals include-
@Running Elley: Yea, I saw the previews and was like... wait that's a book?! And I immediately went to buy it. :)
@kperry3:The book is amazing!I bought it for my sister after I finished it and she loved it too. And Reese Witherspoon is my favorite actress so I think that the movie will be wonderful!
Wedding Goals:
- Send out the last few invitations
- Make an appointment for the groomsmen to be fitted
- Figure out ceremony songs/readings
- Choose BM shoes
Personal Goals:
- Run 2.5 miles twice this week
- FINISH GRAD SCHOOL APPLICATION and sign up to take the MAT
- Go to the BEACH this weekend :)
@JennBug89:I like your last goal!! This close to the wedding I feel like planning time to relax is really important, at least for me!
@Running Elley: Yes, I completely agree! I checked the weather for this weekend and its supposed to be 80 degrees and sunny here. Ahhh, perfect beach weather!
*BUMP*
How is everyone doing on their goals? Hope everyone is on their way to ticking off something!
@sparkle: Well, I lost ONE pound lol. But that was my goal. A pound a week. And I did that. So I guess that is good.
Btw this is a g-ball. My dad bought it from a guy at work. It's a pretty cool activity. I do that and zumba. And last night after zumba I did 20 min of pilates. :)
Wedding related:
1. Figure out how to print engagement party invites as they need to go out soon
2. Figure out if we need ot find a new rabbi
3. Book our FOCCUS test appt w/church
Not wedding related:
1. Apply to more jobs!
2. Figure out a bday gift for FI
So, three days ago these were my goals:

And so far I've worked out twice, and plan to workout tonight, did 1 load of laundry and put it away (plan on doing a lot of laundry tomorrow), and tonight I want to figure out my table numbers and pull all my pictures off my old cell, so I'm not doing too bad (as long as I actually follow through with my plans for tonight).
You can add to my goals for the weekend to clean the house. Tomorrow I want to do some hardcore spring cleaning!
Happy Monday ladies! Hope we all met our goals last week! What are we working towards this week?
Last week I was hoping to: I would like to make it to the gym four times for an hour each (made 3/4), eat a healthy dinner at home five nights of the week (4/5) and pack lunch for DH and I for work four days 3/4).
I came up a little short last week but this week I would like to try zumba, work out a total of four times for an hour minimum, and not drink any soda. I would also like to do some major house cleaning between tonight and Thursday as we're having a party on Friday!

Hi Bees! Happy Monday!
I thought it might be fun to do some weekly goals...get a list of things we want to accomplish this week and maybe touch base on it at the end of the week to see what we got done! Hopefully people want to play!
This week I would like to make it to the gym four times for an hour each, eat a healthy dinner at home five nights of the week and pack lunch for DH and I for work four days.
