I am considering purchasing a Print Gocco to make my own wish tree tags and thank you cards, but am concerned about neatness, ease of use, and cost. Would it be more cost effective to buy the cards than to purchase the machine and all necessities? Is it difficult to use? Any advice would be appreciated.

    Hi!

I bought a gocco with plans to use it as much as possible.  It is really easy but the supplies are EXPENSIVE.  Plus, they stopped producing the supplies, so in the future, we'll all have to work out alternatives.

If you are just planning on using it for a few items, I would try looking to people willing to sell a used one, or maybe someone in your area is willing to share.

I am a gocco-owner, and agree with meganrose that it is an expensive little habit.  I would say if you make cards and stationary a lot, and plan to use it after the wedding, go for it!  Otherwise (if you're like me) it is probably more costly than buying things pre-made or even gocco prints from etsy.  I really wanted to hand-make all of our paper products, so the cost was worth it for me.  I've also been stock-piling supplies for months.  After the wedding, I hope someone may want to buy it from me!

also keep in mind that Goccos are no longer in production, so you'll have a hard time finding products for it.  they're a ton of fun if you make cards and stuff all the time
