Just thought I’d share this as an encouragement to you wonderful Christian ladies,
My FI and I were in a pretty big fight from monday night through tuesday night. So yesterday I told him I had plans. He was upset of course but I told him I needed to go for a walk and pray and spend time with God. He asked if he could come with me, and I didn’t really answer. When I got to my house, he was there and I told him i was going and if he wanted to come he could. We walked for about 10 minutes and said nothing to each other, we were holding hands because I felt I needed to tell him in some way that I wanted to work it out, but I had no words at that moment. It was very painful, than I started to pray for God to tell me what to say to him. A few minutes later we heard a noise in the woods, and there were 2 deer hanging out and eating. I almost busted out crying. (whenever i feel anxious or upset, God always gives me a deer, everytime even when I’m driving and I’m really hurting, I always see a deer. I prayed on my way to work that morning that I would see one, but he didn’t give me one than so I was extra upset, little did I know what he had planned for me that night.) We just stood in complete silence and my FI put his arm around me as we watched the deer. I wound up thanking God and we stood and watched the deer for about 10 mins. (my FI knows about me and deer and God, so I think he remembered that and that’s why he put his arm around me.) I was reminded of the verse about how much God will take care of us, just look at the way he cares for the sparrows (sorry kinda butchered the verse but you get what i’m talking about).
So after the deer we continued to walk to the lake and sat at the picnic tables and worked everything out. I’m just so happy neither of us shut down, and we had that special time together and that God saw us through. So if any of you are hurting, just remember that He loves you and wants the best for you, and just lean and call on Him, his faithfulness is neverending!
