I think a smokey grey and ivory would be great but I don’t know about the kiwi, it may be too light with the smokey grey… I apologize I am not much help.  But Good luck!

<p style=”margin: 0in 0in 0pt” class=”MsoNormal”><span style=”font-size: 7.5pt; font-family: Verdana”>I think a pewter silver would look great w/ kiwi and white (or Ivory) which ever you prefer. I do think, though, if you are worried about it feeling too summery that a pewter (or darker) silver would look better. I went to a wedding last November where the girls dresses were a lighter green (lighter than kiwi, I think) and they had pewter sashes, they look great

i like it, the kiwi could be a bit bright. if you were to change anything i would look into a darker green.

I agree with the pewter idea, and also think an ivory or winter white would work better-but I’d match the color to your dress. I don’t think the green needs to go darker as long as you can’t call it light green. I think it sounds beautiful!

I think it sounds absolutely lovely.  Don’t second-guess yourself!

From an event planner’s perspective, do not worry too much about the rest of the room.  Guests are not going to be looking at the carpet, the walls or the plants in the perimeter of the room.

They will be looking mostly at the table they are seated at, and your table.  So as long as those things are set up the way you want it to, that’s what they see and remember.  Do you remember what the actual room looked like at the last wedding you attended?  But you might remember that they had lovely flowers and colors, and that the bride looked fantastic and happy.

So do whatever it takes to achieve that smile on your face.

Then all the more reason to go with a bright, pretty green, which will go perfectly with palm trees.  I know you’re worried about it looking too "summery", but since I live in cold climate, I would welcome the chance to attend an event in the dead of winter that reminded me of warmer weather.

You’re half-way there with the palm trees.  The calla lilies and a pretty green and silver motif will just be the icing. You don’t have to match your wedding decor to the elements outside!

Believe me, they’ll remember more than the palm trees.  But I really don’t think they’ll be saying, "hmmm, her table settings don’t really go with the glass ceiling"!
