Well, we didn't completely stirke out. We found one suit at Jos. A. Banks. They had a good sale and you can buy the jacket and pants separate. Jacket was on sale $179 (Reg. $395) and pants $79.
Banana Republic doesn't carry Long - only regular and short, so no luck there.
If any of you bees go shopping with your grrom for suits, please post and let us know what you find!
My FI (who buys suits on a fairly regular basis) usually gets his at Banana Republic, and he's a long. Perhaps it was only that particular BR that didn't carry longs? If there's another one close by I'd try hitting them up. Also, be aware that some things will be on sale online but the same item will not be on sale in stores. We found out the hard way that BR keep their sales (in store vs. online) totally separate.
As far as other recommendations for slim cut suits, I would try Express. My FI is quite tall/skinny and he loves their slim cut suits and their slim fit french cuff shirts. In fact, I found the perfect yellow argyle socks for our wedding there. They have great stuff IMHO.

We are going out to shop for my FI's suit this afternoon. He actually said he wanted to shop, so i better get him out the door soon! We are looking for a modern/slim cut black suit. We will also be buying the Best Man's suit as well, so looking to stay around $200-$250 a piece. Hoping to see some sales, but we are in no hurry.
