As I previously posted wedding-plans-have-been-postpone.  I just received an email from my lawyer that EX will be served the contempt of court at work because he has moved and will not say where he is currently living.  All these ugly feelings of how awful he can be are resurfacing and I know he will make it so difficult for me b/c the sheriff will now go to his job.

FI has been the sweetest and a great moral supporter.  We have slowly proceeded to get the ball rolling again with the motivation that we are not letting one person stop us from being together and being a family.

Just wondering if any bees out there have gone through this and do you have any advice?

I haven't been through it and I can't give any advice, only internet hugs :) It's going to suck. You know that already. It's one of those "hope for the best, prepare for the worst" situations. Luckily you have your FI supporting you, like you said. Allow him to be your rock. You WILL get through this. The court, if they're smart, WILL allow you to move with your daughter. In the end all of the crap will be worth it.

I'm sure you already know this, but please don't talk negatively about your ex around your daughter. My mom and dad were never married. My dad hasn't been the best, but my mom allowed me to form my own opinions about him. For your daughter's sake, keep the ugly feelings/thoughts/words between you and your FI. But like I said, I'm sure you already knew that :) Good luck and keep us posted. We're here.

Oh, I'm sure this whole thing is tough. But you'll feel so much better after it's all resolved!  I'm glad you have a lawyer to run interference for you.
