Honestly. I don’t have any. All I did was shop! LMAO!!!! I lived in Florence, so I have a lot of suggestions for there…. I was only in Milan for a weekend helping a friend move (and shopping the rest of the time!), Milan has beautiful architecture. I’d suggest picking up  Lonely Planet guide or having a peek around their website, they always have great ideas!

OP: Did you just book on the Iberia sale?  If so you are lucky!  I wanna go to Paris but no one can get time off!

The Duomo is really gorgeous, but it’s pretty hard to avoid seeing that in Milan. 😉

You might see if you can still make an appointment to see the Last Supper at the Santa Maria Delle Grazie. I didn’t when I was there and I still regret it.

If you can travel a bit, DEFINITELY go to the Cinque Terre. I stayed in a small town between Milan and Turin, so the Cinque Terre was an easy day trip for us. It’s absolutely magnificent, and you don’t even have to hike the five towns if it’s too cold. There’s a train. We also went to Portofino the same day, and that was really beautiful. I highly recommend it. Just google images of the Cinque Terre, then multiply the beauty by 100, and that’s what it looks like in person.

Watch out for gypsies and Senegalese near the Duomo (they grab your arm, quickly tie a woven bracelet on it, then expect you to pay them). Never take a cab that doesn’t have “Commune di <whatever city you’re in>” on it, and if anyone bothers you, just yell, “vaffanculo!”

In bocca al lupo!
