I am having a gold wedding too and we are doing a fern green as an accent color. They are beautiful together.

I'd say almost any color looks good with gold-- my favorite would have to be a sapphire blue and gold, but that's mostly because I am partial to blue... :)

When's your wedding? If it's in the fall, I say crimson. Of course, don't forget white.....ooh, that would be elegant.

Burgundy or purple would be great too.
But my favorite with gold is actually teal...
everything looks good with gold! My colors were gold, brown, ivory and sage-ish green. I love rich, warm colors with gold though. it depends when your wedding is!

pink is my fav colour
how exciting, another gold-themed reception. mettallic gold is also the colors of my wedding next summer. my accent colors are pink and green, mostly bright, medium color range to match the season. i'm thinking of using a variety of cream, magenta, and even a couple of green flowers. for the fabric wall treatment behind the head table, i'll have champagne and gold fabric.
