Also, last year Big Lots had a lot of silver, gold and red chargers (I was looking for silver) around the holidays for about $1.50 each. The woman told me they get them every year aroung Christmas if someone is looking.
bed bath and beyond has gold chargers in their clearance section right now too - online as well.

Ladies, just a heads up Target and Walmart have gold chargers ($2.50). However the shade of gold at Target is a little darker than the one at Walmart. Here are the item numbers just in case you want to call the store first to check their inventory:

I was at my local wal-mart today and found gold chargers marked $5 because of the after-Christmas sales. Just a heads up if you are looking for some. This might be cheaper than a lot of rental companies.
