I think this is one of those things that only we brides notice/think about :-) And to be honest I think gold flatware (if you could find it) would be way too flashy.... your guests won't be looking at things like your flatware to match with your color scheme. Silver flatware will look beautiful with your gold chargers!
Cupcake is right, silver flatware is perfectly fine with gold chargers. I think Donald Trump is the only one who would have gold flatware at his wedding .
We are also doing gold chargers. One caterer we tasted with showed us gold silverware with our gold chargers, and it really looked amazing(they also showed us gold-rimmed wine glasses, which were equally stunning). But the other 8 caterers showed us regular silver-toned silverware, and this looked perfectly fine. The gold really looked put-together but the added expense wasn't worth it. You can rent it if you really want to, but I'd put my money elsewhere.
My wedding colors are pale pink, fuschia and gold.
I will have gold chargers at my reception. Do you think silver flatware (silverware) will clash?
I can't remember the last time I saw gold flatware, but I thought I'd ask...

They also have them here for a bit cheaper ($1.87 each).

I don't need that many of them, so I just bought them at Macys.
