@MzJynxie: OMG the first pic of gold ombre nails is to DIE FOR! love it!!!
@AlwaysSunny: I know what you mean, I'm just looking at other colours and wondering what they'd look like in gold.
I love the ombre look. I think it adds a lot of detail & interest. I love those nails too! And that cake is GORGEOUS!! The pink ombre cake sounds bee-u-ti-ful! PInk being my fav color! haha
I love the look of metallic detailing in decor. I could see ombre played out well via a ribbon backdrop or in sweetheart chair elements, cake. I would pull the gold out specifically and add elements to a floral arrangement. Martha Stewart weddings just put out their DIY issue and they had this GORGEOUS paper gold trim called "dresden paper" - its essentially embossed, super detailed silver or gold designs. You can make SO many things with them, they are beautiful! Check it out here-- http://www.marthastewartweddings.com/231106/diy-wedding-centerpieces/@center/272429/diy-weddings
I definitely think you could do a gold ombre wedding! I think there are a lot of pictures of ombre weddings not in gold that you could draw inspiration from. This website has some great pictures http://stage.greenweddingshoes.com/a-new-years-eve-sparkly-wedding/

The fabulous wedding gown on the left is Junko Yoshioka's Valentina.
Some ombre pictures for inspiration that you could do in gold/cream/ivory

(You could make your own flowers, this is a DIY flower ball)

wedding program basket
ombre favors

You could do an ombre mixed bouquet like this one for your own bouquet, and then have your bridesmaids hold bouquets of different colors, that when standing together in line, create the ombre effect.
you can make gold ombre pens for your pens to sign the guest book with (http://dalemackey.wordpress.com/2012/05/07/make-gold-ombre-pens/)

You could do cake pops in ombre like on the cake ball cake or like these:

One of my favorite ombre table/cake set ups:

@MzJynxie: I'm not sure if I'd be able to make them, but I followed the link from Pinterest and they're sold on etsy.

I've been researching ombre deatails, and I thik it's more than a trend - it seems well on it's way to be a cemented style. So I was hoping that you fellow bees would share and gold ombre photos of wedding related photos.
