I think i found the venue of my dreams. Im getting married in Atlanta GA, and the venue that my fiance and I are looking at is The Wimbish House, it comes with old school chavari chairs but they are gold. The colors that i wanted for the reception are purple’s and grey/silver. Im worried that the chairs will throw the whole concept out the window. Do you think i should change my colors to match the chairs, and if so what colors should i use. I also want to add that my fiance is set on having uplighting.
This is the venue space and the chairs it comes with

Where else is your silver incorporated?
And no, I don’t think you should change your colors to match the chairs. You can always place a silver sash on them, and I don’t think many people will notice them if you have your silver incorporated into other areas.

Personally, I love the chairs…. but gold is one of my colors (gold and plum). I think you can make them work though….. I just found out (week before the wedding) that our chairs are actually dark chiavari chairs with black cushions – and all our table linens are ivory and ivory flowers (purple uplighting)……. but I dont have it in the budget to spend $4/chair to rent ivory chair cushions – so we are making do….. at least you get those awesome chairs to use – way better than standard banquet chairs. I’d try to incorporate both metallics in your wedding maybe – a little gold and then a little more silver….. and the uplighting changes everything also.
