So my fiancé wanted a gold ring and he has a real nice watch he planned to wear for the wedding, he does also have silver dress watches and I’m getting him a cheap stainless steel ring to wear with silver watches. Anyway, he wants to wear his nice gold jewelry for the wedding while I was planning to wear silver. is this ok?? Idk what to do. Our colors are gold and silver and black. I thought about Doing all the bridesmaids in gold and black jewelry and me in silver. But then not sure if the groomsmen should have the gold or silver cufflinks. confused. Am I making a big deal out of nothing or should everyone be in the same?

You can mix them, especially if it’s your color scheme. No one will notice those details except for you anyway, and your wedding will look very lovely with a mix OR with everyone the same.

babygoose02: Mixed metals will look fine. They both go with your theme.

Agreed. It is ok to mix gold and silver. I feel like its more important the jewelry goes well with what each person is wearing than everyone’s jewelry matching each other in the bridal party.

Thank you all for the reaasurance. I think I’m going to try to find gold, silver and black necklaces for My bridesmaids. They’re wearing a simple long black dress. Thanks!
