Worst! For sure Helena Bonham...like really...different shoes?!? And my fave was actually Natalie Portman.

Helena is always out there but Natalie looks lovely - how many months pregnant is she???
I have never ever liked Natalie Portman. I don't get the hype. I don't think she is a good actress and she looks very plain and ordinary to me. Sorry! Off topic!

@Lindsay12.31.2010: totally! she really can pull anything off. this gown was so fun, and not surprisingly versace, since she's the face of the new accessories campaign.

wasn't it interesting to see all the sleeves this year? anne hathaway, eva longoria, gabby sidibe, angelina jolie, julianne moore, scarlett johanson, and more.
Anybody else a teeny bit surprised by Artie not being in a wheelchair? I think I knew he wasn't ACTUALLY paralyzed, but it was just like.. hey! Artie's walking!

@Lindsay12.31.2010: OK - gotta vent. I LOVE LOVE LOVE January Jones. She is soooo Grace Kelly. But what is with the nutty outfits she wears at award ceremonies??? Sorry, but she dress way too "hard". It just doesn't jive with me. This red dress is yet another example. Too Barbarella.
I LOVED Olivia Wilde's dress! Gorgeous! It was my favorite by a mile!!
I also liked Jane Lynch's dress. Definitely something that I would love to wear.
I actually really hated Anne Hathaways dress - very 80's and way too over the top, IMO.
I didn't like that there were so many basically nude colored dresses with ton's of sparkle. I honestly thought they looked a little ridiculous and I didn't like seeing so many people in so many dresses that were that similar.
My favorite was Catherine Zeta-Jones in this Monique Lhuillier stunner.

@MissDallasCowboy: Holy cow...not cute is it? I think if she ditched the ruffles and made the dress tea or knee length, it could be very cute for a summer outting, but not the golden globes. lol

wow, michelle williams looks like she's dressed to take her daughter to the park. i have no idea why she decided to wear a burlap sack covered in daisy decals.
i love claire danes and think she's gorgeous, but this dress was so blah on her

I thought Catherine Zeta Jones looked like the Hollywood royalty that she is.
However, I was a little disturbed by all the women in flesh-tone dresses that made them look completely washed out. You are not supposed to blend in with your dress! It made me nervous about looking washed-out in my wedding dress. I don't want skin cancer but I guess I need to hit the tanning salon pretty hard if I don't want the nasty ivory skin/ivory dress combo!

I ADORE Natalie Portman and can only dream of being as poised and gorgeous as she is 99% of the time. But these women have access to every designer under the sun and as the front runner to win best actress this year she could have had any dress out there. Instead she looks like she sort of gave up. There have been tons of pregnant celebrities at award shows that have pulled it off beautifully, (Heidi Klum, Angelina, Amy Adams just to name a few).
oooh it looks like Natalie changed into a much cuter (and more comfortable) outfit later in the night. well played!
