If you're willing to make the drive to Baton Rouge, Danny from the Golden Needle on Florida Blvd. is excellent. He is very well known in the area and is quite busy, so it'd probably be a good idea to call ahead.
I've had him alter several BM dresses and they came out fabulously; also, my friend's weight fluctuated a lot before her wedding and he let the dress out, took it in, and let it out again with no problem at all, and the dress looked fabulous on her wedding day. HTH!

I'm looking for recommendations for a seamstress!
I have a lace dress that needs the shoulders taken in, as well as lace repair and a hem. Most of the lace is fine- but the chest area needs alot of work (I think).
I will have a second dress but don't know what alterations will be needed because I don't have it yet!
