I got DH "The Expectant Father", and he really likes it. We'd read some of the funnier ones ("What to Expect When Your Wife is Expanding"--which I didn't really find all that funny), but this one is a more serious, very informative book.
When the time comes I have high hopes in "What to expect when your wife is expecting".

I’m going to give myself a trigger shot today to ovulate. And it’s really starting to hit me that I could get pregnant. Not some far off concept or hazy ‘maybe it’ll happen’, but OMG I will release an egg and his sperm will be there and OMG, this could really happen.
I know I’ve been doing what I can to read and prepare myself. But DH is bumbling along, asking me questions. I’m kinda getting tired of being Wikipedia on all things pregnancy and babies. He also thinks I’m kinda insane about worrying about things. But I feel like he just doesn’t know things and …well ignorance is bliss.
