I didn’t check the whole board, so this may already be a post. Let me know.
Anyway, I was talking to FI last night about various wedding details and mentioned the rehearsal dinner. his response was, "What!? We have to feed people the night before too?"
I responded with, "Duh. You expect us to take time out of their evening around dinner to practice for our wedding and not feed them?"
So I am wondering, what are some really good books for grooms? I am specifically looking for something that involves the groom in the wedding planning and doesn’t tell him that he just needs to show up. He knows I want him more involved than that, but doesn’t know what he’s supposed to expect. Thanks all!!

Silly me, I didn’t even see the books category. This should have gone in there.
Edit: Or not, that is just the book club.

not sure if you’re still in need, but i turned my fiancee onto a site i read about called theplunge.com. it tells him the basics and what he really needs to be involved in, in a funny tone so he relates. hes gone to some vendor meetings with me, and he’s actually taken to sending passages to his friends! talk about an about face! may work for you too – take a look!

My husband read a couple books he found at the bookstore. Grooms Guide for Dummies was one of them 🙂

I told FI about that site too! I haven’t gotten him a book yet so I’ll keep the Grooms Guide in mind. 🙂

My stepmother gave my FI a book called Groomology. It’s rather on the short side. So far he hasn’t read it but hopefuly he will.
