So I was very disappointed in the restaraunts I’ve been looking at since my wedding will be about 20 people, and we recently moved into a new condo and the event room is gorgeous so I’m thinking of getting married at city hall and doing the dinner thing in the party room all I’d need is table cloths and place settings ( DIY bliss 😀 )
so im wondering what price ranges will i be dealing with for the caterer and if anyone can recommend.

@Ellebot: i work downtown and we often use “The Food Dudes” for special catered lunches. I look forward to the food as it’s always really yummy. I don’t know what their prices are like, but I have honestly been impressed with how good the food is for a catering company. I’m not sure your taste/style preferences, but the servers are always really friendly and nice too – has a small business feel and everyone is happy to be working for them. Here’s there website: http://www.thefooddudes.com/#/canvas

I have tried the Food Dude’s food and it is pretty darn good! Not sure what prices are. I wonder if you can do mix catering (prepare some food on your own that are served cold and premade, and add the hot food from a pro company)

We used 10tation, and the food was AMAZING! They were also really easy to work with, and the representative that we used (Frank) basically was a wedding planner for me and organized everything else for the day of, the flower delivery, the cake delivery (they set it up-no charge), makde sure everything ran smoothly. I’ve recommended them to friends and have been to a few parties catered by them.
